Query Language
The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:
- atwood kansas
- finds documents containing 'atwood' or 'kansas'
- atwood or kansas
- same as above
- atwood and kanas
- finds documents containing both 'atwood' and 'kansas'
- atwood not kansas
- finds documents containing 'atwood' but not 'kansas'
- (atwood not kansas) and race
- finds documents containing 'race', plus 'atwood' but not 'kanas'
- kan*
- finds documents containing words starting with 'kan'
