Ardean Aafedt Stadium is the site of the 1999 Midwest Plains 13-15 Regional Baseball Tournament.  The stadium has hosted many District, State and Regional Tournaments in both Babe Ruth and American Legion Baseball.  In 1980 the stadium hosted the Babe Ruth World Series, considered one of the finest series ever held.
